1
An auction setup may be created before payment setup. Public bidding starts only when market, fee, payments, domestic shipping route, published rules, and the specific seller's seller payment-account readiness pass the required availability checks.
2
Each bidder supplies a private maximum. The server derives the public price through proxy bidding and never discloses that maximum. Server time determines ordering; sellers cannot bid on their own listing. Hidden reserves are not allowed.
3
A valid bid in the final 120 seconds extends closing by 120 seconds, up to 1,800 accumulated seconds. Material terms are immutable after the first bid; actions are transactionally locked and idempotent.
